Professor Anita Rampal was Dean, Faculty of Education, Delhi University. She was Chairperson, NCERT Textbook Development Committee (Primary Stage); Member, International Commission for Mathematics Instruction and part of several national and international committees. She has been Director, National Literacy Resource Centre, National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie; Nehru Fellow and UGC Research Scientist. She is engaged with the People’s Science Network and Right to Education movements. Areas of her work include Policy Studies, Curriculum Studies, Education for Sustainable Development, Critical Mathematics Education, Teacher Education, Science & Technology Studies.
