Dr Brenda Dobia has a professional background in Clinical Psychology and a PhD in Cultural Studies. She is an Adjunct Fellow in the School of Education at Western Sydney University where she spent 21 years as faculty in its social ecology and teacher education programs. Her expertise includes school-based behaviour and wellbeing, and sustainability education. Dr Dobia has a strong commitment to social justice and decolonising practices which inform her continuing work with First Nations communities and colleagues.
